Adult Dog Advice – Exercise

How much exercise should adult dogs have?

This will vary with the intensity of the exercise your dog has, a 10 minute run around a field will be more intense than a 10 minute walk on the lead. The main aspect of the exercise is that it should be consistent in time and intensity from day to day and should be matched up against their food intake to ensure they have a body condition score of 3.0 – see our Feeding Advice page.
